Dr. Benecchi DMD

Dr. Benecchi and his associates have been providing dental care for the residents of Revere and the surrounding communities for 30 years. He has owned the practice since it was built in 1978.  After attending grammar schools in Revere, Dr. Benecchi graduated from St. John’s Preparatory High School in Danvers. Dr Benecchi attended Marquette University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1970 and completed his work for a Masters in Biology in 1973. He attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 1976 as Doctor of Dental Medicine.  After graduation he opened his practice in Revere, where he still lives.

A past president of the Revere Rotary Club and a former board of director of Revere Jaycees, Dr. Benecchi was one of the founders of the Revere Youth Soccer League and has organized and coached in the Revere Traveling Basketball League and the Immaculate Conception Parish basketball league.   For the past twelve years he has been serving his community as a member of the Revere Board of Health.

Dr. Bacanurschi DMD drbacanurschi

Dr. Boris Bacanurschi was born in Moldova, Eastern Europe, and completed four years out of a five year program with honors at the Odessa Medical University, Faculty of Dentistry in Odessa, Ukraine. In 1999, he and his parents immigrated to Toronto, Canada. He took an additional undergraduate year at the University of Toronto, Life Sciences Program in 2002. He moved to the Boston area with his wife and two children and started the DMD program at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2002. While at Tufts, Dr. Bacanurschi was elected as an active member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon-National Dental Honor Society, participated in Tufts Elective Honors Programs in Esthetic Dentistry and Implant Dentistry and was selected as a Teaching Assistant in both pre-clinical and clinical Dental Disciplines.

In 2006, Dr. Bacanurschi graduated from Tufts Dental School-Magna Cum Laude and worked in a dental office in Medford, MA before joining us in June 2006. Dr. Bacanurschi is fluent in Russian and Ukranian.
